Darryl White joined up with Tab in 2001, taking on the southern Louisiana rhythms on stage as well as in the recording studio. “Wetlands,” in 2002 brought about the beginnings of the distinct pairing between Darryl on drums and Carl Dufrene on bass that solidifies the rhythm section now known in Tab’s library of CDs including “Wetlands,” “The Sea Saint Sessions,” “Fever for the Bayou,” as well as appearing on “Whiskey Store Live” which Tab collaborated on with Jimmy Thackery. Read more here...


Bassist Carl Dufrene comes from one of Louisiana's musical families.  He is a well rounded musician who has toured with Paul Cotton of Poco and Leo Noncentelli, original guitarist for the Meters.  Bassist Carl Dufrene provides heavy groove and a solid musical backbone to solidify one of the best bands on the road today.
