Grammy Nominated Cajun Bluesman/Conservation Activist, Tab Benoit, performs his Bayou blues and signature percussive guitar riffs. Benoit shares what it was like when Hurricane Katrina hit as he was filming the IMAX motion picture, “MacGillivray Freeman’s Hurricane on the Bayou.” Learn about the Voice of the Wetlands” the organization that Tab Benoit started in an effort to save Louisiana’s eroding coastline.

Activism through Music has been the bands goal with a journey that began in 2004 with the Voice of the Wetlands All-star’s debut CD on Ryko Disc. The bands tours and shows have been highlighted by their annual appearance and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. We are looking forward to the historical Wanee Festival and plan to have a few special guest join them. At last year’s Blues Music Awards Tab took home three awards which were the ”Contemporary Blues Male”, “Contemporary Blues Album”, and  “B.B. King Entertainer of the Year” awards This year he is recognized along with Robert Cray, Gary Clark Jr, Joe Louis Walker, and the late Michael Burkes.
